A fabulous old building with walls two feet thick. The Gray Rock Inn was neglected for decades. But now it has new wiring, insulation, paint, floor coverings, sprinkler and fire alarms.
The front porch is a delightful place to sit on a hot summer day. The sunny balcony above the porch is a pleasant spot on a cool day. The Gray Rock Inn is located at 100 Biltmore Ave., next door to the French Broad Food Coop. It is convenient to downtown, on a busline, and is surrounded by shops and restaurants.
